EICR (Electrical Condition Report)
We can conduct this key report to ensure your electrics are up to scratch.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a full investigation to check that particular aspects of an electrical installation have been installed in line with government legislation. It must be undertaken by a qualified and competent person at an interval of at least every 5 years.
If the report fails, we will advise on what needs to be done to rectify it, and at what cost. The report and remedial works are two separate costs.

Demystifying EICRs
We think it's important to explain upfront that the sole purpose of an EICR is to demonstrate that your installation is in line with legislation. Neither the report, nor any remedial works undertaken to meet standards, will constitute a guarantee that all electrical elements (such as light fittings and fixtures) work at the time of the report.
In the simplest terms: you may have recently had an EICR, and possibly even remedial works, and find that a light fitting isn’t functioning correctly.
However, the light in question may be fitted to a circuit in compliance with EICR legislation and yet the light fitting, bulb or transformer may still require replacement.
Of course, WLPS has electrical experts on hand to assist with these smaller issues; you will always know exactly what you are being charged for and why.
